Mike built the floor in a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon.
Then he and Douglas built the walls and added the roof.

Mike has built a few chicken coops in his life and thought this couldn't be much different.
So he started with a few drawings and a shopping list.

Building an outdoor kitty condo

A year ago this month we adopted Miller from a shelter in Pasadena CA.  The shelter was a two story building with two outdoor structures.  Since our cats are indoor kitties, we were inspired to try to build one for them in our backyard. Little did we know…
We did a lot of research on line.. There were a few nice photos but not much information
about how to actually build one.  Douglas decided it would be a lot like building a shed.
We researched shed building and thought about it some more.
It wasn't until last month, when Mike came to town, that our crazy idea became a reality.
